I will be taking accutane soon for my severe acne + scarring. However, I am so terrified of the drug that I'm considering trying it for one month only. But can one month of it cause any long term damage at a low dosage? Is it possible that I'll damage my body if i've only had a month's worth? Please help!

One month is not worth it... By the time you get through the initial breakout and that the Accutane makes his magic you will look at least 2 months. Don't be scared at all!! Depending on your height and weight the doctor will decide how many mg you willl take each day and then might bump you on a higher dose later on. A course of Accutane is usually 5-6 months.

Honestly Accutane changed my life! I'm so HAPPY with the results and almost all of my side effects have subsided after 1 1/2 month (except for the dry lips). You will need to have bloodwork done every month to make sure you liver, cholestorol, etc are still fine to keep taking Accutane.

Go for it! You will be amazed after a few weeks! Go see my Youtube Channe at juliebaby28, it might help you out :)

Good luck!

i was on accutane but only finished 1 month bcause of liver funtioning and high cholesterol.
the oil came back 3 weeks after stopping. will take another blood test on monday to see if i can start again.

But no, 1 month of accutane wont do any long term damage.
