Hey everybody, earlier I had a bad breakout and I posted pics of it, it was inflamed and I had bad dark marks. I tried almost everything even started using Doryx which did not help very much. For the first time ever I started using sunscreen because I felt that the sun would worsen my scars. So I did this but nothing changed it just seemed as if my acne was getting worse and I had no idea why.

So the Christmas break came and we all went home for a month vacation. In this month I switched back to my routine I was using before (why I stopped I ave no idea).
My Routine:
1. Wash face with black soap in the am
2. Moisturize with neutrogena oil-free moisturizer
3. Later of wash with cetaphil face-wash
4. steam face for about 5 min then apply lemon juice
5. leave on for 30- 40 min
6. rinse off
7. @ bedtime wash face with black soap then apply topical
8. Go to sleep and repeat process

After I started this routine again my face started clearing up A LOT (almost clear now).

I also stopped using Doryx, recently stopped using sunscreen (I feel it was one of the reasons I was breaing out), substituted soda for water and juice, and also stopped drinking milk.

Today I visited the derm for the first time in about 3 months and I told her te Doryx is not working so she said ok she wont give it to me but she prescribed me tretinoin which she told me to use every 3 days, it brings the impurities to surface and unclogs the pores.
So Im going to work that into my routine, just thought Id share this with you guys maybe it could help
