Are you female? Tell them you are preventing wrinkles.
I'm a male, and I always tell the bros that it's my anti-aging/anti-wrinkle diet.
I would say splurge every now and then if it's with friends. I'm sure they'll understand if you want to go to a more decent place like Chipotle. If they're good friends, they'll respect your choices! Don't mistake questions/skepticism for anything negative, sometimes people are just curious since they haven't heard of diet/lifestyle changes
Haha, anti wrinkle diet, hmm calling it that maybe could get them on board too

It's not hard. Put yourself in their shoes, they don't give a shit what you eat. Whatever you say, they'll forget 5 minutes later. Do you pressure THEM to eat anything?
Not eating McDonalds hardly needs to be justified. If anything, they're the ones with the questionable destructive behavior.
It's only a big deal if you make it. Just say "Nah i'm not hungry", "I don't like any of this stuff", and we all move on. You just need to wrap your head around the idea that you have complete control of your life.
I'm not saying they care about what I eat, they're totally fine with it, but when someone cooks for me I'm not going to say "Mweh, I don't want to eat it".
But yeah, when in mcdonalds i should just say I'm not hungry, that's true.

I always pull the " I'm not hungry" or " I already ate" excuse.
My friends always want to stop by Mcdonalds so I know how you feel. Some of my friends think I'm aneroxic because they don't see me eat with them. But I don't really care cause fast food just isn't good for you.
Too be honest, I'm kind of scared they are going to bring that up too and i already have a history with anorexia, so i really hope they're not going to take it the wrong way.

Im totally disturbed by this, its hard to hang out with friends. My girlfriend for example, wants me to eat a cookie, i look her face and i feel bad if i say "i dont want it". what i do is eating before i go out and if they ask me to eat i tell them i've already eat and im full, so they dont look at me like a bored old man. Im going on a trip with them tomorrow, ahhh they love cheap fast food...what am i gonna do =/, hoping cinnamon and fish oil keep me clear
Ohh i know what you mean, when i go to my grandparents they always get this special chocolate for me that i really like (but don't want to eat anymore) and i would feel so bad saying no. Last time i put it in my pocket, it totally melted and was a complete mess ughh.
Anyway, have fun on your trip and hopefully you can buy some stuff in a supermarket or something and make your own meals. Have fun anyway!
