What do you mean?

Do you mean you put Benzoyl Peroxide on a pimple that's popped? If so, that's perfectly fine. The antibacterial properties contained in Benzoyl Peroxide will prevent an infection,

well in my experience unfortunate no matter what you do if a pimple pops in a shower its still going to resurface and get a new head. just lke when you pop it on purpose it usually gets really irritated and inflammed then by tomorrow its going to have a new head probably worse and hurt more.. this is just what happens in my experience. i had a huge pustule on my chin it was healing nicely then i took a shower and it popped on its own it looks so much nicer too like it was going to be completely healed by the next morning. boy was i wrong that sucker swelled up so much bigger than before and got a huge head. i didnt mess with it at all and it finally is gone with a tiny scab still on it now and that was a full week ago. good luck i diditn use BP i used SA so maybe BP will help more? im not sure.

Are you thinking that because it popped the rest of your face may break out? If you're using BP as part of a regimen, you should be putting it on any part of your face that is breaking out anywhere (not as a spot treatment - whole sections). If you're just worried about the BP, it's fine. Both BP or sulfur will dry it up, but sulfur would be the more "healing" of the two. I use Mario Badescu Drying Mask as a spot treatment. It smells terrible but it is very drying. It may be that I use sal acid and AHA regularly, but after the zit has healed, I don't get red spots.

I always succusfully pop my pimples. I pop the hell out of them from every different angle until I'm 100% sure theres nothing left, and they always go away for good. I propably pop harder than I should but I don't care, I find that scarring is worse if I pop unsuccesfully and then have to do it all over again the next day, and it's definitely worse if I just leave it when it has a head and clearly needs to be extracted. I always immidiately clean it with hydrogen peroxide, then hold alot of pressure on it with a piece of paper towel or something until it stops leaking, and then I cover it with a dab of neosporin ointment for the night.

LOL im glad that works for you but that is the wrost thing ive ever heard for someone to do for a pimple. theirs bacteria all over your hands. pressure on pimples even when not extracted pushes bacteria deeper into the pore and scarring is much worse when picking at a pimple causing more irritation on the surface. i dont know how you get away with it. but when my pimples come to a head and i dont touch at all unless cleansing my pimples completely go away in 5 days including the redmarks left after just my experience. but im glad it workse for you bro

also id like to add
you do know that when it comes to a head and fill with pus this is white blood cells coming to the rescue to help a pimple that has a 'damaged wall' under the skin leaking sebum underneath so not it is not neccessary at any means that it needs to be extracted..

Well of course I clean my hands before I do it. And I don't pick it, I pop it. Picking is horrible. I do it as gently as I can but I do it until I'm sure it's all out. And there is no way it's pushing bacteria back into the pores, if that happens then you're doing it wrong. It usually comes right out.

Yes, the pus is white blood cells, pulling the bacteria to the surface to remove it from the body.
