Help me out here. A woman at the age of 23, I thought this would be over. For the past month however, my chin has had a horrible break out. I try to be patient with it, but it seems after one finally heals.. Another appears next by. They're large, white heads and I'm not going down without a fight.

The rest of my face for the most part is clear. Once and awhile I get a spot elsewhere, but the focus seems to be on my chin.

I wash my face with Cetaphil every morning and night, apply sodium sulfacetamide and sulfur lotion (dermatologist prescripted), and then put Olay Complete all day UV moisturizer. I am working on up-ing my water intake, but have had a 'drink' diet of tea and coffee for awhile - I find it hard to believe that would be causing it. I also don't eat much in the way of desserts, and don't eat pizza more then once or twice a month. I exercise at least 4 times a week, running being one of the major exercises.

Suggestions?

My worst Chin flares started @ 25. Granted, the occasional pimple on my chin (PMS-acne) prior to these buggers was nothing. I can relate-one goes and another one pops up! These also present themselves differently?? Am I right by thinking these are tender, white-puss filled pimples? You do have Dr. Script so it means your being proactive. Good for you! What does your Dr. contribute to the question?
In my past with these pain in the butt pimples I came to a couple conclusions on my own and also with the guidance of my Dr.
1. Hormones change and flare. I can go months and months without these type of pimples. Then boom! One right after another..Hormones. All acne for the most part is caused by hormones. Some can be caused by cosmetic products.
2. Stress. Get me stressed and they appear.
3. Exhaustion. No sleep and there back.
4. Diet. Crap food, alcohol, and not enough H20.
5. Cosmetics. This one is 50/50 for me. Granted, some products can cause acne and disrupt the skin. You get a rash, redness, itching, and maybe sprinkles of whiteheads. Though even the best of the best can cause acne "like" pimples when not properly removed or used. But, and here is where I'm a 100% certain what causes those buggers for me when everything else is in check(diet, sleep, no-stress) Chemical Sunscreens. If I even get a drop of chemical sunscreen on my skin(chest, neck, face,) I get those deep, tender, itchy, white-puss, filled pimples. Again, I'm speaking from personal experience. I could not understand..Why, why, I was getting these bad boy's on my chin in the summer? I use physical sunblock on my face? I was baffled. Come to find out the spray sunscreen had chemical sunscreen in the ingredient list. I was spraying it on my chest, neck, and back. It transferred to my face and I had some crazy looking pimples-which took forever to heal. So think about maybe switching to a Physical Sunblock. Also, another great tip is once you've applied your ready to go! No waiting 15 minutes as you would with a chemical block. Plus Zinc is a bonus for irritated skin.
Balance, moderation, and research. It's okay to have what you crave here and there. Balance.

That is exactly what is going on over on this end. It's frustrating, and while I have been guilty about popping them, I have stopped. Haven't been able to talk to my dermatologist yet, but I am planning on calling her tomorrow. I do use a lotion-based sunblock, if that is what you're talking about.

Thanks for the tips.. I am upping my water intake, so hopefully it will flush out the toxins.
