I'm a 26 year old male who has long lurked on these forums but I wanted to post for the first time. I did my first course of accutane and have now been off it for a year. I have had moderate but not severe cystic acne on my chest since I was 18. My last course had me taking 40 mg for the first month and 80mg for 4 months. The few large cysts I had never went away completely but to this day they are much better than when I began my first course. There were a few minor spots that are almost completely gone and even after being off for a year they've never gotten any worse. Does anyone have any similar experiences? Did you do a second course and did it clear you completely?
