I've got this...well, I don't know what it is. It's like a pimple on my chin, but it feels like it's under my skin. It's hard as a rock and is pretty sore sometimes. It's pure red and has no head ( There's no sign of puss in it. So all in all, it's a red bump that's hard as a rock and under my skin. What is it?
What Is This? A Pimple? A Cyst?

How big is it? If it's the size of the tip of your pinky finger then most likely it's a papule. This should go away in about a week. If it's more like a large jelly bean then it may be a cyst. Regardless...don't squeeze or pick it. You can apply ice to it several times a day. Don't apply hot compresses...this will just inflame it more. If it's a large thing then you'll want to see the dermatologist for proper tx.
