So I had this spot it didnt come to a head so it turned into a hard lump. It was painful at first and then it went less painful and grew like 5 times bigger about the size of a 10p coin. I left it for about 2 weeks and i just felt liquid inside. It turned brownish and purple. I got a pin, steralized the area and pricked the bit where it was filled with fluid. LOTS of fluid came out both white and red. A few days later when the scab peeled off there was still some leakage. Its like it reccurring. Now it flat with a slight raise. There seems to be some liquid in there. Its shiny red in colour and its painless. What can I do?

it is probably shiny and red because you just popped it and sometimes it takes a few days for the bump to go completely down. it sounds like a lot of pus and blood came out of it already so I would suggest icing it for about 10 minutes or so and then applying whatever spot treatment you use after that. When that dries you can put a little oil free moisturizer over it and then just leave it alone. It will form a scab most likely and then be sure that the scab is ready to come off and don't pick at it! If it is very open and raw then you would do best with neosporin. the best thing you can do it just treat it and calm it and don't squeeze anymore and let time take care of it.
