Ok guys I need your help :/
I have suffered a lot of acne back when I was in freshmen year (high school). Ever since then I had this bad habit of picking at my pimples, and popping them. Sometimes when I feel really self concious I would squeeze the pimple so hard it goes white. Idk what to do. Recently i stopped doing that. Now I'm 17, and a junior and my acne has been appearing less now, but my scars are showing really bad.
To try to cure my scars I been applying baking soda, and then for a moisturizer I applied some cocoa butter. I just started this regimen a week ago, so I'm not seeing noticeable changes. Only if I look real close in the mirror I'll see a little bit of a fade on some small scars.
My pictures are on the bottom by the way.
I was wondering to try some over the counter dermabrasion products such as:
http://www.amazon.co...27295304&sr=8-1
Or go extreme with chemical peels like glycolic acid which I'm considering of buying this:

I really wanna know if there are any natural ways of fixing my problem. If I have to, I'll buy something similar to what I posted above. :/
So yeah...
Anything would help.
Thanks in advance guys.
Help Please? :/ (Pictures)

I am sorry I have not much experience with scars because I have not dealt with mine yet (tho they are smallish) I might suggest though taking vitamin e or a pills because they can help your body heal itself naturally. also, using less harsh products and more natural products let your skin heal itself naturally. i found a couple holistic remedies right here --> http://www.mysensiti...acne-scars.html also something i sometimes used was a manuka honey mask. get 16+ type manuka honey from australia online. i used it as a facewash/mask and it helped pretty well its night overnight but i starting seeing a difference after 2 -3 wks

Hey Raj,
I know how you feel. I am Korean and we have similar discoloration problems when it comes to acne scars.
Your scars look bad now because they are hyperpigmented, which can last anywhere from 6 to 12 months. After that, though, they should have faded away and your scars, in general, will look a lot better.
If you'd like to speed up the process, you can opt to undergo a laser resurfacing procedure. A simple non-ablative laser procedure can get rid of hyperpigmented scars in just one treatment. There are other methods too, though I am personally not as well-aquainted with them.
I should stress that, for the redness, you don't actually have to do anything to get rid of them because they WILL over time fade away. The indented scars and whatnot is another matter, but they won't look as severe once the redness clears up. Almost no topical treatments really work for it, even something like hydroquinone won't do very much. I suggest that you, instead, take care of your skin as best as you can. Keep it moist, make sure to use plenty of sunblock (not sunscreen, real sunblock has zinc dioxide which will block out the sun all day and does not need constant reapplication), and, above all, get the acne under control.
All the best, man.

im gunna be honest: the indented scars are pretty much permanent. unless you opt for some sort or resurfacing or surgery. those are the real scars.
the discoloration will eventualy go away though. sadly, it will take a LONG time. about 6+ months.
i wish you luck bro

Stop the cocoa butter. idk bout the baking soda. Be gentle with your skin. Wait till the discoloration fades. Youll be fine bro. Think about scar treatment when your ready for it. Itll turn out just fine.

Hey! You should visit a dermatologist as you still have some active acne. At the same time you can ask of scar treatment options in the future but I think you should now focus on the acne. Scars will eventually look a lot better with time as the redness fades.
