I'm a 17 y/o guy and if I'm here, it is to seek some help for my acne, because it's just too hard to take alone, even if my parents are supporting me ( but you know the basic "it will go with time, everyone's got it " ). The problem is that in my class, we're only three on 31 to have acne, so it's really noticeable and that bothers me.
My acne story isn't that old, actually it started slowly last year, I had some small buttons so I went to a doctor who prescribed me some creams that quite worked and as a result, the last half year was quite good ( untill July my skin was clear ), but my mistake was stopping applying cream once it cleared.. consequently, my acne got quite severe this year and i'm really sad it didn't end last year...
I have always been using, since July, the same products until like a month ago when the doctor gave me a new one : Duac. It has been really efficient!
Now I'd like to use this thread to get some thoughts from you, who know much more than me about acne, to tell me wether my acne is severe or not? Because I can't say...
Also, I get some little hair in my cheeks and I don't know what's the best to shave them : eletric razor or normal razor just like for the sides? I think i've read that electric shaving is generally adviced for acne, isn't it?
