basicly omega 6 is inflammatory, as you know , acne is an inflammatory disease. Is not about decreasing sexual hormones, experts claim during teenage its normal to develop acne because of this sexual hormones, thats a myth. The're so many factors of hormonal unbalance, testosterone and androgens are just two of the list. About your second question, you should get omega 3 from natural sources of food aswell, such as seafood, obviously avoiding junk food which contains lots of 'bad fats'. You can also consider supplementing with fish oil, omega 3 capsules (high quality), flaxseed oil, etc.

Hope it helped

Low omega-3 fat diets has been linked with acne patients since the 70s.  Omega-3′s, monounsaturated and even saturated fats in diet, have all shown to increase testosterone levels.  In my opinion, DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is the main cause of acne and hair loss, it is well documented.  However, there are natural herbs that are known to block the reception of DHT, and even inhibit its creation by blocking an enzyme (5-alpha-reductase) that produces DHT.  Once in the blood system DHT directly alters the sebum glands and starts over producing oil, thus creating acne (all kinds from cystic to blackheads).  To block the reception of DHT (not inhibit its creation) take roughly 500 mg of Saw Palmetto daily.  To inhibit the production of DHT, take 250 mg of Nettle Root Extract.

i dont know if you should say that... hormones are most definately the cause of teenage acne when going to puberty? this is why most people have stages of really bad acne. males start at puberty then likely get bad outbreaks around 16 and 21 for females they get acne during every cycle..
why would you say that sexual hormones SPECIFICALLY during puberty is a myth?

ineed i would suggest not taking any thing at all that is said to fluctuate with hormones DHT testosterone whatever you want to call it. if it has to do with hormones i would stay far away from it!
good luck!

I think most fats boost testosterone. ~ 70% of my daily calories come from fat and i'm fine. Raised testosterone won't cause acne

if insulin is an sexual hormone i guess you are right. My point is androgens are stimulates by something else, other hormones. Of course, i admit some people put their acne under control after controlling their sexual drive, anyways, its not the main cause

For about the 10th time.  High insulin, high fats, ejaculation all raises the production of DHT.  DHT is the sole creator of acne, and baldness.  Saying increased testosterone will not create acne is false.  The sebum glands are heavily altered and kick into overdrive when DHT enters the blood, thus creating oil production and acne.  Diet can also raise DHT production and thus oil and thus acne.  It is the main causation of acne.  However, everyone produces different amounts of DHT from different things.  For example, someone with a high insulin could get acne from raised DHT and someone else could also have high insulin and not get any acne, it is different on an individual level.  The reason many people say adults grow out of acne, is because the level of testosterone decreases with age, however this also differs for many people as well. You can combat DHT with Saw Palmetto (85% standardized recommended) and Nettle Root Extract, both of which block/inhibit DHT in the blood.  Other things that are known to cause acne are secondary factors (and are more rare): vitamin/mineral deficiencies and allergies (if you have allergies and believe acne is to blame, you will not only have acne from it, other symptoms will also occur; such as: digestive track issues/sinuses).

I've read a claim by a guy, who was taking saw-palmetto for hair-loss, that it made his penis smaller.

Saw Palmetto is used to treat erectile dysfunction, so I would say that claim is completely BS. Nettle root extract/saw palmetto/pygeum all treat the prostate (namely enlarged prostate issues), which include E.D., weak bladder, and possible risk of cancer.

I've read from several sources that a possible side effect of Saw Palmetto is impotence. It must vary from person to person. I'm going to try it out anyway.

It won't make your penis smaller, the same way steroids don't make your penis smaller, just your balls.

No, saw palmetto does not make your penis bigger either. Just clarifying that in case some poor chap looking to enlarge his penis in reads your post in 5 years and wastes money.

160mg is good, make sure it is 85% standardized extract oils, best results.

The stuff I got (bluebonnet) says 85%-95%, is that okay? What does it even mean?

yes that is good. it means there is more extract of actual saw palmetto herbs in the pills. The ones that aren't labelled have been shown to have low amounts of actual Saw Palmetto extract and take longer to work, based on reviewers, if they work at all. The ones you got will do the trick.
