I came across a really good thread about somebody clearing their skin with vegetable juice...but I can't find the post for the life of me! Anybody kind enough to link it?

Try searching on google. Just type "site:acne.org" and then whatever else in the search bar and all the results will be from acne.org.
Here's an example: site:acne.org vegetable juice

This might be the one you were looking for - http://www.acne.org/...6-years-try-it/
I've come across it a few times.
I bought a juicer late last year and I was looking for some good recipe ideas and some form a success story to validate my purchase. It's good for health regardless of it's impact on acne. I suggest fresh juice though instead of V8 or stuff from the grocery store shelf. That way it's not loaded with sodium, and also because after you juice vegetables, it instantly begins to lose it's nutritional value, so it's best to drink right away.
The user that made that thread also used B5 though, so I don't know how important the juice actually was in the grand scheme of things for him/her.
