Ughh I'm so fed up with my skin at the moment. Ever since I started moisturizing with CeraVe, it's been acting up a little. No matter how much I treat my face, I still get these annoying little zits. Please tell me what moisturizer I should buy!! I don't care how much it costs, I just want something OIL FREE and NON GREASY.. but is moisturizing enough because my skin gets dry from the BP, Sulfacetamide/Sulfur face wash, and tretinoin 0.01%. I also have tons of red marks on my cheeks, so please nothing irritating. Thanks! Hope I get replies asap. I'm feeling so down Posted Image

I know exactly how you feel. I have oily skin that is also very prone to dehydration, so for years I struggled to find a moisturizer that gave my skin the hydration it needed without being oily and greasy. I've tried soo many moisturizers before finally finding one that agrees with my sensitive skin. It's Dr Dennis Gross Trifix Oil Free Hydrating Moisturizer! I've been using it every day since November and I LOVE IT... It's oil free (obviously :P), non-comedogenic, fragrance free, paraben free... just all around a very nice, light, basic moisturizer which in my opinion is perfect for people with oily, sensitive, or acne prone skin. It doesn't have a lot of crap in it. You can purchase it from Sephora. Also, you can get a sample of it to try before you buy it, which is what I did. (: The sample lasted me quite a while, actually. You don't need a lot of it either, just a few small dabs on slightly damp skin is enough. Hope this helped? (:

Oh my gosh. If I were using all those products, I'd have dry whacked skin too! I'd recommend toning down the regimen more than anything. A moisturizer can only do so much.

Hi ShooShooAcne,
I'd suggest you try the organic acne solution Dermify. It will help clear out your skin and also balanced it. Plus it leaves the skin moisturized and soft compared to many products I have tried in the past. Check the reviews on Amazon, it works pretty well for me so it might be a solution for you as well. Good luck!

I use Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin. Doesn't break me out. Isn't greasy.

I have found only two moisturizers that I could use that didn't break me out. Eucerin had one in their acne line several years ago, which they discontinued. The other one is Lumiplexion. I have consistently gone back to this moisturizer for over 20 years. It comes in either gel or cream. I use the cream because I like a little extra moisture.

I have never tried any of the moisturizers listed above but I have been using cetaphil moisturizer (for all skin types) for YEARS and it is the only one that agrees with my skin. They also have lotion for oily skin which I used for a long time as well. It is oil free and fragrance free. The best way to use it is apply it gently and let it soak in the skin for about 10 minutes before applying makeup or anything like that.

Be careful with Cetaphil. It is very similar to CeraVe. I've tried them both and both give me whiteheads almost immediately. If you can't use CeraVe, you may have the same issue with Cetaphil. Unfortunately, there's no one product that works for everyone, except water :). What I really like about Lumiplexion is you communicate one-on-one with the owner.

Do you have to order the Lumiplexion online? Maybe I should give it a try too!

You do have to order Lumiplexion online. There a questionnaire on the site or you can even contact her directly to ask about the product beforehand. She is offering 20% off moisturizers this month (she does a special every month on her Facebook page). So use code FB121 for that discount.

Thanks!! I just checked their site out. Emailed them and asked for the list of the ingredients, as my skin is very sensitive and reacts negatively to most moisturizers.

If you don't hear back from her soon, shoot me a PM and I'll send them to you. I use the cream and my daughter uses the gel, so I have them both here.

Bingo. Great product. Its light and absorbs easily. One tip.
Use a small amount, let it absorb then add another small dime sized amount instead of just slathering it on at one go.

Thank you :) I just ordered the gel and it should be here by tomorrow. I'm looking forward to using it. I love how they use Aloe Vera as a main ingredient.

Keep me posted on how you like it! The products always have the good stuff and a lot fewer chemicals than you see in others. Did you speak with Pamela?

Love this moisturizer! Again, thanks for recommending it to me :) It's very moisturizing, but doesn't leave a greasy film like most moisturizers do. My skin looks less dry and irritated too. I think I will stick to this product from now on.

This natural green tea moisturizer from this store called Naked body and bath (they also ship btw!). What's cool is it comes naked (meaning it has no fragrance oils or essential oils added) and if you WANT you can add a certain Essential Oil blend to help. I added the Acne blend in mine! Works so good and you need such a SMALL amount to get through the day! I also use their menthol toner with the blend in it and their Kelp Help dead sea mud bar of soap to cleanse my face Posted Image I've had clear skin for about 3 months and I've never been so happy because it's natural products! When I read the ingredients on the bottle, I actually know what they are! Haha! The online site is www.nakedbodyandbath.com Posted Image
