I've tried almost everything to cure my bodyacne. I'm always so ashamed to bare my back and chest. I tried all the diets on this website, I cut out bread, red meat and dairy from my life, but all it did was make me lose weight. Now I'm slowly adjusting my eatpattern with my dietician, because I have become fairly underweight. I did however find out that my diet lacks iron, magnesium, zinc, calcium, b1/b2/b6 and vitamin E.
Now my dietician told me to get a multivitamin, but most I found have too high doses and I've had bad experience with those. Does anyone perhaps have some good recommendations? Perhaps a few herbs that are strong in the minerals and vitamins I'm lacking.

Omega-3s got rid of body acne completely. Have also read some stuff on this board of others claiming the same thing. It's worth a try.
Also I wouldn't really worry about getting too much vitamins/minerals from multis. Food-bound vitamins and minerals are absorbed better than supplements.

THIS. Just make sure to ditch other vegetable oils while supplementing.

Hi,

Acne has been known to occur with patients low in zinc/magnesium/omega-3 fats, and has been known and report on from the 70s. The reason zinc/magnesium are very important is their hormonal regulation properties, as they regulate over 300 different hormones.

If you are having a problem with multi-vitamins, try taking half a portion of them, usually they all have 3-6 capsules per serving, take half or even less if you wish.

If you want to get them from diet alone, which is also a great alternative, try these lists:

Good luck.

Eat liver once a week or more. It's loaded with nutrients more so than the muscle meats. It also doesn't taste too bad, surprisingly.

Spirulina and other sea vegetables.
