Those pics do show dramatic improvement, but I wonder if we had all their phone numbers and called them what they would say, if the improvement has held up. I am surprised they are not redder in the one week after pics, I have been researching the SmartXide and alot of people that had high settings say they weren't fully recoverd till after 2 weeks.

I know what you mean and I also wonder why they are not redder. It is a fractional co2 laser after all.I like to see photos 6 months to a year after. Also the lighting is different alot of the time in after photos that could change the look of the scars.I just really like to know if any laser works for acne scars or we all hopeless dreamers.

Honestly, I don't think it will totally fix mine, but I have other surface irregularities that are showing up more and more with age, and I figure this should help. But I don't think a real answer has been found to scars, at least the deep permanent kind many of us have.

I agree, there should be more redness. You really can't start seeing real results for about 3 months. People will see results, but the process is much slower than people want so most give up way too early. After my first Re:pair there was still residual redness at 4 weeks. After my subsequent Re:pairs the healing was much quicker and after my fifth I was out of the house in a few days. I get my Re:pairs at the peak setting of 70mj-60%. Anybody expecting a quick fix is going to be dissapointed.
