Hello, I've had nodular acnes on the side of my face for the past 3 years, and at first the doctors gave me some antibiotic that killed a lot of the acnes, however, there is one huge bump that still remains. The doctors I've seen have both diagnosed as an ance and as an ance scar, so I'm not sure which doctor is right. The 'ance' doesn't hurt, but I don't recall the rest of the acnes hurting, so I'm not sure. Is there a way to find out? Thank you!

Sometimes, scar tissue can be bigger than usual, and feel more like a zit (because it is raised from the skin, rather than being flat.) Without seeing a picture, I think it is a bad scar. But if it persists or gets worse or hurts, I'd see a doctor again.

if it's been there for 3 years i'm sure that it's a scar.
