Can any of you think of anything that would correlate taking a vitamin with cysts?

Started taking a standard one a day for men vitamin about 4-5 days ago, now randomly I was cyst free for weeks and now I have 3.

One of my forehead, one on my chin, and the biggest one the size of a quarter on my neck.

You guys all know how much these hurt, just trying to figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

I don't think so. I had cysts before I ever started taking vitamins, and after a long-term vitamin regimen, they didn't necessarily get worse. I'm pretty sure there's not a connection. (I used One-A-Day for her teen vitamins for about 3 months)

I really believe that there IS a correlation between multivitamins and cystic acne and i say this from personal experience. Maybe not everyone reacts to multivitamins the same way, but after i started taking GNC Women's Ultra Mega multivitamins, I had the worst breakout of my life with painful cystic acne all over my face that took months to go away. My dermatologist tried everything from prescribed topical ointments to oral antibiotics, even 3 rounds of levulan with blue light therapy and nothing seemed to work. The only reason I found out it was the vitamins was because I ran out and handn't gotten around to buying more. After about a week or two of not taking them i started to miraculously clear up and I've never taken another multi since. I told my friend at work who was also battling cystic acne and taking a multi to try stopping and it worked for her too. Like i said, this might not be the case for everybody, but you can research online and find lots of information correlating multivitamins to cystic acne. Hope this helps!
