my face is terribly oily in the T zone,on the other parts of my face its seems just a little oily .the strange thing is that acne mostly appears of the'' normal'' skin-cheeks and jaw line (apparently hormonal acne)and these are under skin bumps (cysts or sth like that). How often should I wash my face when I have the possibility(like when being at home)? Everytime it gets pretty oily or just two times daily?Does washing more often actually change anything when it comes to acne?

Na, washing won't clear up your acne, it will just make ur skin worse off. Nd all acne is hormonal...whether ur 15 or 50.
I'm starting to change up my diet to get rid of acne cuz so many people on here got clear from it, and not many ppl got rid of acne by washing their face lol.

I would never wash more than 2 times a day. If anything, washing your face more often could make your acne worse.

Two times a day, any more than that can dry out your skin or irritate your skin. Once in the morning, once at night

My T zone is oily and I never get any acne there. My cheeks are dry and I get/(more like used to get) acne only on my cheecks. I believe washing once a day before sleep in enough. Treat your zits like scars that are waiting to heal. You don't want to wash your scars/wounds 3-4 times a day, do you? Tha will just aggrivate them.
So once or maybe even twice a day is enough.

I personally only wash my face with a cleanser twice a day, but if I'm home I'll wash it with just warm water(just a couple splashes) whenever it feels too oily. I don't think an extra wash or two with just water will irritate it.

Washing twice a day with a cleanser is the norm for people with oily skin: When you wake up and before you go to bed. I normally also have a shower late afternoon but I don't use any products.

Over washing does not make you produce more oil; this is controlled by our hormones and not by our skin needing more moisture.

I don't know. I think, acne can be a result of irrateted unhealthy skin. I think that if you keep your skin healthy and moisturized and not cause any irratation, that will clear you almost entirely. Scrabbing your face with harsh chemicals cannot be good for any skin.

I never get acne on my forehead, so I always leave my forehead alone, even though it gets oily.

it has nothing to do with bad care of my skin, these are under-skin bumps, have sth to do with the internal matters in my bidy eg hormones...

Okey, I don't know what kind of acne you have exactly. But what I wanted to say is not to overwash your skin.
