Hello people on the Acne.org board, I have come to spread some news about how my acne is doing and how you can get rid of white heads and pustules, and other spots/ pimples, so I would recommend reading every part, well, It's up to you if you would like to read my experiences.
Okay, so I have/had mild to moderate acne, it wasn't so much acne, it was just mainly white heads, I got them all over my face and I was scared of going to school, I even attempted to get off of school just to not be seen by my friends because the amount of spots/white heads I had was just Embarrassing, I couldn't handle it, a lot of people on this board have gone through this stage from what I have read, or are still going through it.
here are the main things I used to clear my acne.
This is my daily regimen -
Morning (after shower)
- Simple Facial wash
- Simple Light moisturiser
and that is all I use in the morning, the face wash washes off the product I used on my face last night, and the moisturiser eliminates the dry skin, I use light moisturiser because it is water based so only water sits on the surface if it is not soaked in to the skin properly with the heavy moisturiser the oil tends to sit on MY skin, may not be the same with others but with me it does.
Night - (before bed)
- Simple Facial wash
- Epiduo
Simple face wash is used at night to clear all of the oils on the surface of my skin, and the Epiduo is a spot cream which contains 10% Benzoyl Peroxide which unclogs pores and dries the skin but not too much, (depends on how much you apply, I apply a pea sized amount to my face and I spread it around in a circular motion, as I do with the moisturiser)
The next main thing is Water, Trust me, drink lots and lots of water maybe 10-12 pints a day or even more if you can, it's worth the clear skin, it cleared my skin up completely in around a week I had around 7-10 white heads on my face and it cleared them up ever so quickly, It's the best thing I think you could possibly do to clear up your acne, This did work on my, but It may not have the same affect, but on most people it does, what drinking water does is clears the toxins from your body without them going through your face, it's a helpful thing.
NEXT, WHEN IT COMES TO POPPING WHITE HEADS, This is my view, I would say do not pop them at all let nature take it's course, I searched for countless hours whether to not pop a pimple or white head or not and In my point of view I say no!.
If you would like to get rid of a pimple in a couple of hours I would suggest washing it and putting some Spot ointment on it, That's what I do, I wash it and then put some Epiduo on it several times and this dries it up and it just goes away.
Thank you for reading, I will reply if you have any questions.

Water makes no difference for me personally. In the past few months I have gone from drinking 3 litres a day to drinking a couple of glasses and my skin doesn't change either way. :S
I tried Simple Moisturiser a year or so ago and didn't really like it. But then again I've never found a moisturiser that worked well without breaking me out.
