I know that most of the boys (and girls of course) with acne wonder if the boys/girls still find them attractive. I have a little story for you and I hope that it will make you fell better because this is TRUE.
So I didn't have acne never before (now I'm almost 18), I do had some pimples (few) on my face when I was 12-13 but that was it. So last year my face was CLEAR. I mean C-L-E-A-R. Ok... so there was a guy with acne in my class. Cystic acne. At that time I didn't even know that there were various types of acne (yeah I know I was pretty ignorant.)
So as I said there was a boy with acne in my class. Belive me or not I HARDLY ever noticed his acne! He was a GREAT boy. I would have been able to talk with him for HOURS about anything. And not only I. Some of my friend also. He is a tall guy but I cannot say he is handsome or something...just an ordinary guy. But I thought about him to be one of the most attractive boys in my class (YEAH EVEN WITH ACNE.... WTF ACNE IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS WE THINK) He was shy and not like all these boys who think they are....the best. He was special. And if he would sometime asked me to be his girlfriend most likely I would say yes (I'm not sure)
. So yeah.... summer holiday....back to school still clear. And guess what? The boy was also kind of clear. Almost. (I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICED FIRST). So i went to him i hugged him and I started to ask what he had done in the holiday blah blah.... (that's what I do with all my colleges) but he was completely changed!!!! He asked me if I see something changed at him and I was like...." Uhm...youre behaviour?" HE laughing "NO NOOOO MY ACNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IS CLEARING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I was like 
"Uhm...ok so what? this is not an important thing belive me! So what have you..." "OH THAT WAS GREAT MY ACNE..." "NO!!!! NOT YOUR ACNE!!!!! YOU!!!!!" SO yeah.... he changed his behaviour. I don't find him attractive anymore even that he is kind of clear. But now I understand what a great impact acne can have in someone life and I know that in fact if you suffer from acne IS big deal...FOR YOU. Because the others hardly noticed it. BELIVE ME!!!!! And someone asked why do people don't have eye contact with you. Well...when I was talking with him I realised that if I'm looking straight into his eyes he'll go all red and shy so everytime I was speaking to him I would have done sth else to appear that I WAS shy so that he would fell much more confident. I miss the old him! I want my boy back! Even with acne.
So yeah! Cheer up! Acne is not big deal! Be confident and it will clear up!

and thank you for sharing it!........AND i dont mean to bring anyone down with this but not all girls are kind and un-shallow as you are. Dont get me wrong i have had girlfreinds with acne before. But im just speaking "high school wise" Most girls do care about apperances including the face, its a sad truth and obviously some guys care to. Its not nesscesarily that it turns them of its just that high school is a very big social community and people want to fit in with there peers and class mates more then ever before. Heres what i mean : lets say one of the most popular girls in school "hooks up" with just and average guy with bad acne. Chances are her freinds are asking her why shes with him and people around her start to judge her mentally. And girls that are like that will care about being judged, its simply something alot of people cant deal with.
