Hi All, new to the board here. I have suffered from acne for over 20 years now, and have ended up with quite bad scars. I have always given it my all to try to cure myself, in terms of time and money - I can seriously say it has been the most important thing in my life. I was just thinking about how much money I have spent on my skin, with surgery and acne "treatments" over the years I estimate around £30k was feeling a bit bad about this, was wondering if others have spent so much???

Sorry to hear you have had to put up with it that long, I've had acne for ~5 years so obviously haven't spent as much money on it as you but I have read a lot about the money it has drained out of people. £30,000 is a hell of a lot of money, I have seen others that have spent similar amounts on this site, its crazy but you are definitely not alone in that respect.
