Hey guys,
So I've been facing a little dilemma for a while now. Basically in the mornings before going to school I'll come out of the shower and my red marks won't look too noticeable and my face will look fine generally. Then if I wait ~15min and I return to the mirror with flaky/peeling skin. (not terrible but easily noticed) My red marks from old acne still looks really good and even any active spots look ok though. But to fix the flaking issue I have to use moisturizer (I've been using it right after a shower now) which for some reason always brings out the redness. Not only that but my complexion just looks too, idk, oily/shiny?.
I guess what I'm getting at is, is there any way to get around this problem? No matter what I do, my face gets flaky without moisturizer. Is there some secret to getting a flake-less face after a shower? I'm tired of going around with such a red oily looking face haha.

I have the same problem here. When i cleanse my face, my skin (texture, color) looks great, like a normal beige looking skin you know. Then i apply my moisturizer, and after 5min the moisturizer has sooked into my skin and it stiill looks good you know but after 20m my skin gets back to the weird looking (texture, color) that looks like its flaky, dry and red.for some reason. Its hard to explain exactly how it looks, i just hope someone understands what i mean and can give advice or something. Maybe its my moisturizer? I use Skinfood Light Moisturizer. Thanks!
