So over the summer I had my bathroom completely remodeled but was hesitant about the aquarium style glass shower surround due to its capability of getting water spotted from hard water and whatever junk is in the water but I went ahead with it anyway. Basically I have to squeegee the glass and also the tile for added measure and then wipe down with a small hand towel. There are chemicals you can spray on the glass to keep it from spotting, however my tile and marble floor are a no no for those chemicals so not an option. After reading posts on here about water quality and the possibility of it doing more harm then good on your skin I decided to take care of 2 issues with one cure. Next week I will have an Culligan inline water filtration system installed. One main filter outside the house before it comes into my lines, a smaller one leading to my shower and maybe another one attached to a water hose connection by my garage to wash cars. A friend has one and can wash his black car and not even dry it and never gets spots on his glass in the shower. It's expensive but oh so worth it to me so wish me luck I'm sure it will work.
