I will pay any amount of money to get this nastiness off my face.
It's making me depressed because I'm very good looking but I am plagued with these sinful red marks.
I have no more new acne, just a whole buttload of hyperpigmentation.

Would Differin or Vitamin E cream (contains aloe vera gel) or Paula's Choice AHA or BHA exfoliants be the best?

Again, if you have any new suggestions, I'll take them into consideration.

I'll pay any amount if it's reasonable and the product actually works.

Differin or retin-a can help with hyperpigmentation, but it does take a while. Also keeping your face constantly moisteruized is usually effective, but again this takes awhile. Other options that are quicker, are chemical peels or laser treatments. With these procedures it is more invasive and thus there is a possibilty that it can make things worse, so if you do consider a chemical peel or laser treatment, go to a professional with great references and hopefully someone board certified in dermatology. Other anecdotal things that I have heard of (and even tried) was drinking lots of water each day and exercising frequently, but this can just be anecdotal. Red marks are a painful reminder of acne and for some people it takes months to a couple years for them to fade completely. Good luck and let us know how it all goes :)

From my experience red marks take forever to go away. Believe it or not I've had pretty good results just in the past two weeks using chamomile lavender tea topically (way better than plain old chamomile which I've been using for over a year). Once I started washing with honey (just the past week) it's accelerated the results even more. The scars on the left side of my face have been diminished by at least 1/4 in a week using this regimen. These are old scars though, and most of them aren't really deep. Vitamin e works pretty well too! I use that on my active spots in a blend with tea tree oil and this helps my actives to not leave as bad red marks as they would otherwise. Exfoliating always aggravates my acne too much so I don't usually exfoliate.

I have exactly what you have in pretty much the same places. Aloe Vera works okay, if u have it try it!

I have the same issue WillDoAnything.

What I've found that works best for me is being gentle with my skin and maintaining the same anti-acne routine.

I tried tumeric once, and it stains your skin. My entire face was yellow. It stained my nails yellow. The sink, everything. I had to scrub and scrub and scrub to get it off. The scurbbing made my skin very irritated and red-- something that makes my marks stand out more. It was a bad experience.

I make a mask using plain yogurt, honey, and some lemon juice. It does a pretty good job of brightening marks. But with most hyperpigmentation and acne treatments, don't expect miracles.

Edit: I forgot to mention, there have been studies that link benzoyl peroxide to making post acne marks harder to fade. Sal acid would probably be better.

Also, use sunscreen. The sun can make hyperpigmentation marks darker and thus make them take longer to fade.

Thanks for the quick replies. Keep them coming.

Also, if you wouldn't mind, could you post your daily routines and with what ingredients you use.

Are there effective chemical peels that are safe to do at home?
