Hello, I have a few pieces of information to share. I would like to first mention I have been on Amoxicillin for 3 weeks, and I use Duac day and night. Currently I am in Mexico on a vacation with plenty of sun and beach. First off, the sun and ocean water do wonders for acne! The salt water of the ocean stings all the acne spots and dries them up incredibly quickly. All of my acne marks on my forehead and cheek have faded, but after the first day here I got a new acne cyst on my cheek. Now, this is the ONLY spot I am getting cysts these days, but it occurs out of nowhere. I pick them (I know I know awful) and they end up bleeding profusely. However, I'd rather have blood than a swollen mess on my face. My skin recovered and I was feeling wonderful UNTIL last night coming back to the room from dinner, I discovered another cyst on the other side of my face. They start out as just hard lumps on my cheek, so I begin to rip the skin to create a whole new mess. Now with only 2 days to go my finally flawless skin has become a mess again . Does anyone know why I may get this hard bumps only on my cheek? Is it hormonal or something or should I just ditch all these dumb medications I am taking? Thank you!

Im having the same problem, with cysts its bound to be something internal, such as hormones or diet. Watch what you eat, foods with bad oils in, or dairy can make them a lot worse. I have learnt this since Christmas, when i pigged out on foods i have previously cut out. Boom, face full of acne with 3 big cysts now. I find that if you put hot water onto a flannel or cotton wool then press on your cyst it helps with the size of the cyst. Also if you do pick any spots/cysts, get yourself straight into some salt water, it will kill the infection, or help loads.
