Hello, I am new here.

Well, to sum up my problem, I have to go military in about less than 2 weeks and I have post inflammatory pigmentation on my face. I would like to know if applying the Nivea Sun Moisturising Sunscreen SPF 50 PA++ on my face is a solution to fade the scars on my face . By the way, I will be under the sun for god knows how long.

Thank you

Sunscreen is great if you're in the sun, as a tan might darken/worsen your hyperpigmentation. I personally do not like the Nivea brand, since it's full of mineral oil (petrolatum/paraffinum liquidum) which in my oppinion does nothing good for your skin.
I would personally choose a more "natural" sunscreen, from an organic brand.

Try purchasing a sunscreen with Zinc Oxide in it. It helps with Acne and lessens the PIH .

Thank you for your input.

But I only have the Nivea sunblock, is it okay?

If I put anything Nivea on my face my skin would go crazy, but if you're fine with it (ie no breakouts, rash, redness) just use it. I guess a convential drugstore brand sunblock is better than no sunblock at all..
