I am using Dan's AHA for general exfoliation, skin renewal, etc. I started off using it as a daily moisturizer. I really like how it works, but now I am unsure if it is safe for daily use. I am not experiencing any obvious negative effects. I saw that Dan uses it as a spot treat and also about every 3 days in place of moisturizer. My kids are using the whole regimen and have seen improvement and are just now starting to add the AHA.

Depends on the sensitivity of your skin. Personally, I found that while on BP I can't handle AHA. Seeing as how you're not experiencing any side effects so far, you can probably get away with every second day if you're modest in its application. There's no real permanent harm that can come from over-using AHA - just some localized irritation & increased photosensitivity.

Actually, I don't use the BP at all. I only have occasional breakouts. I got the regimen for my teens and use it for my skin care, except the BP. The AHA Plus has left my skin smooth and pores clear for the first time ever. I was so happy with it, and had little sensitivity, I was using it daily, sometimes AM and PM. There is probably no benefit in using it that often or even daily? I am going to just do evenings every other day. Gotcha on the photosensitivity. Thanks for your response.

Oops. Sorry, I should have posted under acne.org products not regimen.

Yeah if you feel that you improving while using AHA everyday, then continue doing so. I personally can't use AHA everyday because it irritates my skin a bit cause it's an exfoliator. I used to clear up all my back and chest acne though, it works amazingly on body acne.
