I'm on the first few weeks of the regimen, and most of the time my skin is only a bit dry. But every time I'm doing the regimen, between the cleanse step and then waiting to apply BP, my skin starts to flake over really fast and get way way dry. I've made sure to ramp up the BP amount slowly, and I always use a lot of moisturizer and jojoba still.
Did this happen to anyone else? If my skin is getting real dry should I wait for it to catch up before continuing towards the full BP amount?

Yeah it happened to me the same exact way . Dan says to wait and I didn't have any problem the first week or so but now I can't wait longer than 1 or 2 minutes since my skin feels dry as a raisin and so I just apply the BP like a minute after I wash my face

Are your faces as red as a lobster? Mine is. Hurts soooo bad. I have trouble talking and I have to teach 2 hours of Group Exercise classes which equals 2 hours of constant talking. That is after work (thank God, there aren't very many people at work today to talk to.)
I wanted to see if anyone applied lidocaine spray or cream to numb their faces. I wear makeup, too.
Hurts so much...
But, there is no oiliness. I never thought I would EVER be this dry. Usually oil drips off of my face.
Maybe I should back up a little. May be I used too much too fast.
And all my acne dried up. Almost all the little white things inside my skin dried up, too. Those ae my real problem as I have light acne. But I can not stop picking at my face due to those little white things which flare up and turn into acne. They feel like plugs of margarine pushed into my pores from under. They are everywhere! You extract it in the morning, it is back in by the end of the day.
Now, no oiliness, yes flakiness, no acne, smaller pores, loster red skin burning like hell. I think I really need a numbing agent. I did not wat to wear foundation in the morning, but I looked like a monster.....
Am I doing it too much?

No, I just use the Regimen-made products. While everyone gets somewhat dry and red off the regimen, if you think you're using too much too fast you just might be.
You have to follow the steady dosage upping part or you're going to over-do it too fast. That's what happened to me, and I had to start all the way over at the beginning and do it correctly.

I've been using the regimen for a very long time. When I first started using it I remember experiencing a lot of dryness. This was mainly due to the fact that I was using way too much BP. I sort off have a small face so I should've used only about 2 fingers at most. Also, experiencing dryness for the first couples of weeks is completely normal. Once your skin get used the same amount of BP being applied every day your skin will flake less and less.
