I avoid making eye contact with them so we don't form some type of connection.

I tend to admire them. Even if secretly being in public with their acne is killing them.

They are brave for walking out of the house with no make up.

I just notice they have it and my reaction is neutral. It is simply an observation, much like their general shape, body physique, face, hair, ect.

Thats how i see it was well. To be honest though, I never noticed acne/scars on other people until I got it.

I don't think too much of it to be honest, not even 'oh they have it like me' very often, its very weird like that. One of the few times I did actually do that was today in class, one girl who normally wears make up wasn't wearing any today for some reason, she did have acne and I noticed that. Although it was milder than mine, I am still envious that I can't cover it up like she can

I feel like I can read their minds. Body language can tell a lot about somebody. If they're obviously depressed, I know how they're feeling. If they're upbeat and shining to the world, I also have an idea of what they're going through. Sometimes the best thing to do is to completely ignore your acne and face the world head on. But I have to admit that sometimes an overachiever type person with severe acne can be awkward. I've met a few of those people in school and I could tell that their severe acne makes some people in class uncomfortable, especially in close proximity.

I usually never notice as I am soooo focused on my acne and my severe scaring. On the rare occasion that I do, I wonder if they are going through the same emotions as I am.
"Could we be friends", I ask. Though I am not brave enough to approach anyone, much less those with acne. I hope to pick up the habit of throwing a smile towards someone who is deemed by society physically imperfect from a beauty standpoint. I know it would really lift my spirit in public.
