The Worst Back Scarring Out Of Anyone....treatments

I recently did a lot of research on skin needling. I had a friend of mine come to my house with his tattoo gun and needle my back. He basically tattood over my scars with distilled water. The initial reaction was intense swelling and redness. Over the next couple of days the swelling went down and a scab formed. I am in the phase of the scabs just falling off. It seems to have worked very minimally but it may be too soon to tell. I was happy that none of the scars have gone back to keloid. All of them have settled down. Now im just waiting to see how much improvement I see. It has been about 5 days since he did it.
I will be getting the before and during picks up soon. Obviously no after picks yet.

Some improvement. Maybe the same as the skin needling but that was after having 4-5 lazer treatments. The lazer treatments helped with the keloid scarring the most. Lazer is good it just costs a lot of money and it takes very little skill to operate. Dermatologists are a rip off!!
The reason my back is scarred is because of negligent care by a dermatologist. My dermatologist prescribed a high dose of accutane for my back and as it started to explode he increased the dosage 60-80mg of accutane a day!! He also neglected to prescribe a steroid or antibiotic to help me heal during this time that my back was exploding. I have never scarred prior to or after taking accutane, so my scarring was caused by the high dose and improper care with the accutane.
I am however, greatful to God that he spared my face. While having a back with scars is a humbling experience, if my face was scarred I dont know what I would do. I feel for people with scars. Ive seen people with bad scarring on their face and it is harder because you can't hide it. But with this needling treatment its bound to work even better on smaller scars such as ones on the face. Ive tried it on my monster back scars and it works ok. It would probably work much better on smaller facial scars.

I've been think about this for a while now as I had read somewhere that it was an effective way to get rid of scars, especially on the body.
My back is a real mess too with acne scarring and although since the acne has not been active the scars are less noticeable, I am still very self conscious about taking my shirt off in public etc. Not good when you have kids who want to swim etc..
I would really like to see some before and after pics if you have any as I really might consider going down this road if I think I could get up to a 40 or 50% improvement. Would do my self confidence a world of good.
Thanks and good luck with your scars,
McGoo !!

I feel for you too man. I could have been a great swimmer in highschool but no way was i going to take my shirt off. how about shirts and skins basketball! Dont think so. Good news is when i get tan in the summer it really doesnt show that much. it all kind of turns brown and i am less self conscious at the beach. i usually lay in the sand and let it stick to my back and then people cant see anything.
I dont want to miss lead you. the scars are still there but they do look a little better. and maybe if i hit them again they will look a little better again. its something.
i am recently working on a chest tattoo that covers up some scars on my chest. Im thinking about tattooing my back somewhere down the line.
A good friend of mine once told me that what happened to me was meant to humble me. and that it did! if i didnt have scars on my back i would probably walk around without a shirt on all the time in public. i look good besides those scars. but, no one is perfect. everyone has something wrong with them. and the ones that are truly perfect are usually the messed up people that get all kinds of plastic surgery.
