Day 26... wow, for the first time i can remember on accutane, my PALMS are peeling, along with the skin on my arms. Was out in the sun yesterday for 10 mins and got toasted. Skin is CLEAR however, and i feel just awesome. No oil, makeup is minimal and lasts all day. I feel AWESOME So very happy!!!

So sorry you've probably answered this a million times but I havent been able to read every post...but did you get over your minimum cumulative dose last time you were on accutane? If so by how much? Sorry thats probably a realy annoying question x x x

I don't honestly know, it was many years ago. My last time I was roughly 23 years old and im 32 now.... sorry, not much help....

one new cyst today, day 30.... latest side effect, peeling palms and arms! My arms are so itchy and flaky, having to moisturise lots and try not to scratch.

I;ve lost track of how many days it's been since i started the 'tane...

Skin was 100% CLEAR, not a single zit. Lips peeling like a maniac, arms itchy all the time. all the other usual symptoms.

But suddenly its breaking out a bit again and usually happens if i have gone out and worn a bit of makeup. Ive barely been wearing any but even a light mineral makeup causes me to break out. Has anyone else had this happen?

Muscle aches seem to be easing up... but lips are really sore!

I'm at one month, 29 days currently... not much has changed since my last post but im due at the dermatologist in a couple of weeks time. I wonder if she will put my dosage up for 40mg per day instead of only 3 days per week. Still breaking out around my jaw... it seems to be the place it doesn't stop. Even if they are not big red cysts, I can feel the hard lumps under the skin. It makes me scared because if they are still there, albeit smaller and less noticeable, doesn't that show that they are not giving up and when i stop it might all come back again?

Don't even know what day im up to, must be about 4 months or more now, maybe 5. Skin is clear, still get a bit oily, pores are still largish... all the symptoms still there - dry eyes, lips peel off every morning but the joint pain has eased and not tired as much. It has made me a bit moody I must say. The upshot though? I am CLEAR. I mean really clear. I go out without makeup, getting ready takes less than 30 mins in the morning now.

One thing in the last couple of days that has freaked me out - my teeth have suddenly gone a grey colour on the tips. I dont know if it has any connection to the 'tane... Im not on any other medication, have no pain at all and no other health problems.. anyone else experienced anything like this??
