I now have red marks all over from previous cysts/pimples. My complexion is always pink or red.
Now I've tried just about everything to combat these.
-For my red complexion: I've tried different cleaners (all which are for sensitive skin, like purpose cleansers). I've tried specailly formulated green moisturizers. I've tried essential oils. I use special suncreen everyday (elta md).
-For my acne marks i've tried: meladerm (skin bleaching stuff), essential oils, AHA+, salycic acid.
The bottom line is nothing works for me. I know time is suppose to help, but I just don't see the slightest change after months, plus now my face is always fucking red. I really don't know what to do, I feel hopeless, my minds all fucked up cuz i know if anymore breakouts happen i get more marks to go with my red face, plus i already look like fucking shit. Pleasssse help me.

True. An oatmeal mask is more of a "I'm red and itchy and I need this gone NOW because I have to get up early for work and I can't sleep and it's driving me crazy!" solution.
I like to put the oatmeal in a food processor and get it as finely ground as I can. And add honey, just enough so it all sticks together. I'll leave it on anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours and wash it off with a super gentle cleanser and the coldest water I can stand (the shock of cold helps with the itching too) and moisturize.

I use purpose cleanser (its suppose to one the gentlest cleaners for sensitive skin). I use an essential oil blend (rosemary oil, aloe vera, ginseng, pearl extract, extracts of reishi-its called Golden Sunshine) and elta md (sunscreen for sensitive acne prone, rosacea, hyperpigmentation prone skin). I was using Dan's AHA+ every other night, but I stopped cuz I think it was too irritating. I've started using bio oil at night, as a moisturizer and hyperpigmentation treatment. I use BP and differin as a spot treatment if I have a pimple coming up. I also use a La Roche moisturizer (anti-redness moisturizer) some nights with the bio oil. I also take Brewer's yeast supplements and fish oil. I wash my face twice a day.

AM: Now I wash with Pur Life Oatmeal Facial Cleanser, apply diluated ACV to red marks, then apply essential oils then apply special sunscreen (elta MD). Take Brewers Yeast and fish oil and about a tablespoon of ACV.
PM: Cleanser with Pur Life Oatmeal Cleasner, apply diluated ACV to red marks, apply Triderma Facial Redness Repair, apply Bio oil. Take Brewers yeast and fish oil and ACV.
Facial redness under control during day, but after wash my face in evening (after about 6pm) face is hot and red. Just started Triderma, new product but suppose to be promising. I'll keep everyone updated, also looking into Chinese herbs (some experts think red face/heat comes from heat in lungs and stomach). Hopefully my regmin works, I go back to college in less to a week and this red face is getting absurb coupled with red marks. If I drink any alcohol my face goes crazy beat red, embarrassing to say the VERY least in the college life scene.
