So I had this white head show up on my face a few weeks ago. It was painful for a couple days but then stopped hurting. Well I didn't pop the whitehead, and let my body take care of it. The white head is gone, and has been gone but there's a little hard bump under the skin where it was. I haven't picked at it and the only time I really touch it is when I put my moisturizer on after washing my face. Any clue what this is or when it will go away?

A combination of swelling and gunk still left underneath your skin. The hard lump will go away on its own, but it takes quite some time.

would Epiduo (a combination of differin and benzol peroxide) help it?

Put a small dab of AHA on it several times a day. It will exfoliate the skin much quicker and the bump will heal. It will probably take a couple weeks, but you'll see it start to get smaller.

I basically have the same thing but mine isn't from a white head but a underground pimple that I should never have tried popping so let me know if you find anything that helps. I think that it's basically a bruise underneath the skin but I'm not sure, but what i do notice is that if i put neosporin on it over night its basically gone in the morning but unlike you, i constantly am touching it and it makes it come back again :(..hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to control myself lol
