I remember when I was younger, my cousin told me that breakouts on certain areas of your face (or any other skin problems) tell you something specific about your health....I thought she was making it up...because I was 13 at the time, but it actually has some truth...like we all know chin acne for women has a lot to do with hormones, but other areas tell you things as well~ just doing a little reading into "face mapping", similar to foot reflexology, each area of the foot corresponds to an organ in your body...same with the face....

  • The forehead- Intestine - toxic - Cascara Sagrada and Psyllium.
  • Above eyebrows - Liver - toxic - Liver Cleanse (formally LIV-A), flush, Chinese Blood Build (BP-C) or Enviro-Detox.

Chinese Acne Map Recommendations

Facial Region Solution
Forehead
  • Go to bed early (10pm) and wake up early (6am). Even if you can't fall asleep. it's good to relax so your liver can rest and be ready for work the next day
  • Drink plenty of water
  • 20-30 minutes of light exercise every day, especially outdoors
  • Practice relaxation techniques to worry less
  • Get enough sleep with a regular sleep schedule
  • Eat healthy foods, chewing thoroughly
  • Better hygiene (washing hair, hats)
Temples
  • Eat less processed food, junk food, and fast food
  • Reduce the amount of fat in your diet
  • Eat cooling foods like bitter melon, cucumbers, and gourds
Between the Brows
  • Exercise, but avoid strenuous exercise
  • Get more sleep
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Avoid smoking
Nose
  • Eat less pungent foods (spices, garlic, etc)
  • Eat less meat
  • Eat warm temperature foods (not too cold or hot)
  • Get more fresh air
  • Exercise everyday (like going for a walk)
  • Massage the area around your nose
  • Make sure you are getting enough Vitamin B
Left Cheek
  • Maintain a normal daily routine
  • Try to keep a positive mood
  • Don't let your body overheat
  • Eat more cooling foods such as gourds, winter melons, and green beans
  • Don't overeat
  • Try to decompress and relax
  • The liver is the strongest from 1-3 AM. This is when you should be sleeping
  • The liver is weakest at 1-5 PM, so schedule difficult work for the morning
  • If you have to work in the afternoon, rest your eyes for 5 minutes every hour

Chin and Jaw

lol. The second picture mainly pertains to females if you didn't notice...I'm pretty sure you have sex organs..

hmm, interesting. theres to many variables though. maybe this maybe that....who knows really. If anything, acne has taught me that everyones different.

i was just kidding, but to be honest, these things are too accurate. You know this when it says things such as "reduce fat" and "eat less meat", both of which are good for the skin.

Ok so maybe the stuff BELOW the face charts are just superstition

but the face charts and connecting to different parts of the body are correct, it's like foot reflexology, FACE has reflexology too

if u like I will erase it

just leave it, it has a lot of information. even though the face map may not be accurate, other information that you provided is really good like sleeping early and the liver is strongest at 1-5am. even though its not proven that the liver is strongest at 1-5am, this motivates me to sleep early.

Yeah, the advice is good, but I don't find the face mapping to be too accurate ... though I *do* tend to breakout around the jaw when it's cycle related. Heh.

i have acne on both my cheeks and i got my acne after i quit drinking and smoking.. /:

maybe your body got to used to those habits that your health kind of "reversed", you know you hear of those 80/90 year olds who "smoking" actually sustains their health and life and makes them live longer because their bodies adjusted to it.

ah so you're trying to detox your liver, which is probably why youre breaking out....listen, my liver was majorly f@#cked too for a period, because I was on so many medications, and I was breaking out in rashes and everything. When your liver is toxic, it releases toxins into your bloodstream, which is not good, it affects all the other areas of your body, and skin shows signs of this by breaking out in things like rash....when you're doing this detox, all the toxins are being released into your bloodstream (because once they are expelled from the liver, where do they go? They just don't instantly disappear) and your cheeks are breaking out....I remember reading up on this a lot, they say to also strengthen your kidney which works with the liver to get rid of these harmful things in your body. The kidney is essential for a healthy urinary system, that's how you want the toxins to be expelled from your body. There are certain vegetables like red bell peppers, cabbage, cauliflower, etc etc that help the kidney..you can google them~

so you think because im drinking water so much it might actually be causing my acne? hmm.. interesting.. i do eat fruits and veggies as well though i started that along with the whole water thing a little over a month ago also i get whatcha saying about the toxins being released into the bloodstream but dont you think after a month of that happening my skin would be getting better by now if that were the case? i actually think its gotten worse the past few days instead of during that entire month. thanks for the reply btw because im getting quite aggravated with the acne!
