Hi guys

So I'm a 24 year old guy, I've always had acne in some form since my teens but recently (the past 6 months or so) my acne has taken a turn for the worse. I had mild acne before but it got to the point I went to a Derm who prescribed me 0.025% tretinoin cream. I understand it takes some time to kick in, but I experience some mild improvements until just recently, around the 2 month point, it seems to have gotten worse. I've heard tretinoin can bring everything to the surface and it gets worse before it gets better, but is that a normal time frame? I figured it would get worse the first month then begin improving or so...not stay about the same until 2 months in, then get worse...Has anyone had a similar experience, or know if this is normal? I'm afraid it will continue to get worse, but don't want to give up if this is normal.
Any help or comments are much appreciated...I'm so sick of having to fight this everyday, I'm sure many of you can relate.
