Background: i use steiva a 0.025% on my cheeks and it cleared me up and i was doing fine. But then when my steiva a finished i went to my clinic and the fucking receptionist told me to use the 0.5% that i use on my t zone to use on cheeks. At that time i din know that tretinoin have a purging effect and that changing to a stronger tretinoin may cause another initial breakout, if i had known i would not have listen to her. Hence i started using 0.5% on my cheeks and slowly the purging begins. During that point of time i fall sick and i went without washing my face the entire day until before i sleep and since i was sick, i perspire alot and i think that cause my pores to be clog and thus, the purging make the breakout even worst. Even though i understand that reverting back to 0.025% would probably continue the purging, i still revert back to it since it had work so well with me. Though until 1 month plus later i cant say i see any real improvements in my skin although i understand u have to give tretinoin time.
My question : Since i change to 0.5% before i was breaking out, would reverting back to 0.025% still help to cure my skin since it is a weaker concentration? Or should i use 0.5%? (even before the i fall sick i could already feel the purging effect which would never have happen if i continue using 0.025% so im not sure what to do ):
P.S I have been using 0.025 for the past few weeks or so.
Any help would be appreciated thanks! Hope u guys understand what i am trying to say here, feel free to ask if you feel confuse
