I have a bottle of essential fatty oils that are bearly expired. Is it a bad idea to take them still?

They're probably okay. I've heard taking any kind of EFA in pill form is a bad idea due to the oxidation rate, but I take 'em anyway.

Depends what condition they weer in. Did you keep them outside where they're exposed to light and heat? Or did you keep them in a cool, dark location where oxidation is slowed down drastically. Oils are only as bad as the conditions in which they reside.

I had bought them from the store and they were on sale but I guess it's cuz they were getting close to the expiration date. They were in a refrigerator and then I went home and put it in mine, where I noticed the date. Now it's expired =\
