Hi everybody,

I'm new on the forum just to let you know.

I had acne when I was like 18 I took Accutane equivalent in France and worked pretty well, I was clear until my 25. Now I'm 25 and I don't know what the fuck is going on, I'm breaking out like if I was a teenager. The thing is I use to model and now I can't work anymore. I moved to Miami 2 years ago by myself from France.

During the first 6 months in Miami, nothing happened, my skin was perfect but one day I had one zeet and another one and now it's totally out of control since 1 month, I'm getting nuts ! I thaught it was the stress of the moving maybe.

Anyway, these are pictures of my face, it's horrible I know but I just received the Dan's product and I added a salicylic acid 20% in the order. I'm gonna start the regimen tomorrow. I bought everything with jojoba oil and AHA+. I really hope it is gonna work.

I'm gonna post pictures of my face every 3-4 days like this you're gonna be able to see the evolution.

I need support, I'm fucking depressed, to become ugly when you were not so bad looking is the worst feeling ever ! I lost my confidence it's horrible how small things can affect your life !

Here we go, I just started the Regimen, my face is drying right now with the BP on it while I'm writing you. It feels it's burning a little bite. I just put a little to make my skin use to it. Stay tuned, I'll post some new pictures in about 2 or 3 days.

By the way, the cleanser is very small, Dan precise we need to put like 3 full pumps, it's gonna last 3 weeks maximum with that pace. Any advices about that ?

Hey Lellok, I've got pretty much the same issue as you. Had acne when I was younger (not that bad) but recently a whole bunch popped up on my cheeks (I'm 24). They don't even really appear to be active pimples though, they just stay in the same spot for months without changing or going away, and are just kind of red spots.

I'm trying a couple products that my Dermatologist prescribed to me - Dalacin T and Clindoxyl gel. I'm gonna give that a month or two and see if it works.

Interested to hear if this regimen works for you, definitely keep us posted on the board! If what I'm doing doesn't work I might try this next.

Best of luck!

Hey ! Ok, it's my 6th day on the regimen and my left side of the face is clear already ! That's crazy ! Look at my pictures !

The right side has less red zeets but now I have like 4-5 white ones, maybe it's a good sign, or maybe not. Of course, I don't touch them. Ho and by the way, I stopped shaving too to see, maybe it was the cause.

Wow, that's awesome! Glad you're getting results so quickly.

I'm on day 8 of my regimen (again, not the one from this site) and so far things seem to be getting worse. Basically more red marks are appearing and are more visible. I'm also getting whiteheads now. I rarely get them but have been getting them consistently since I started my regimen.

Last time I tried this (about a month ago) the same thing happened, so I stopped, and also tried not shaving for 3 weeks. It seemed to help for a few days but then didn't get any better. My doctor said I should stick with it and not expect to see results for 3-4 weeks, so that's what I'm doing this time!

From what I'm reading about results from Dan's regimen, there's a similar waiting period and risk of new breakouts, so I'm gonna hold steady for a couple months before I decide to try something new.

Hi !

Yes, it's one of the regimen fundamental, you must stick to it same if it takes time. Why don't you buy Dan's product ? They worked really well for me and at least, you're sure to not make any mistake.

I finally shaved and of course the next day I had 4-5 more zeets. I don't understand that shaving thing. It's probably ingrowing hair or something. But I'm using 2 blades and the cleanser and it's still happening. Dan tells you should shave daily to avoid skin irritation. I may try that.

I'll post new pictures tomorrow morning !

Stay strong TheSnake ! I think we have both a problem with shaving. i'll keep you updated with the daily shaving.

I blame my acne on shaving >.> I had been using an electric razor for about a year and then i decided i would try normal shaving. Bad Decision. Over the next few weeks I got cystic acne and because I had never really had anything like that before I thought i could pop them like normal pimples. I just pushed the infection further and now 2 months later im finally clearing up. Shaving + stress from school and moving to the city = acne for me :( I too was a good lookin brah until this acne hit and i lost confidence. I realize now that you notice your acne a lot more then anyone else and its nothing to get worked up over. Just be thankful that you don't have severe acne or bad facial aesthetics. Good Luck to you sir!

Hello dear people !

Ok I'm on day 17 now and I'm happy to tell you I don't have any whiteheads anymore ! Posted Image

See pictures.

day17-right.jpg
day17-left.jpg

Now I just have to deal with my scars. As you can see, they are very red, it's because I just shaved just to let you know, and my skin is greasy because I just applied a lot of moisturizer and Jojoba Oil.

I added AHA+ to my treatment everynight but I localized it only on whiteheads, that definitly worked.

If you guys have some advices for scars, I take, I heard that Salycilic acid is pretty good but I don't know if it's the good time to do it.

Tell me your opinion.

Take care and good luck !

Thank you for your support ! I know I'm not a hard case but my age makes it worst, when you have a job, you're in the adult world and you still have acne, it means there is something WRONG, it's not just related to your maturity. I know it's stress, I moved by myself to Miami from Paris just a little bite like you, it's probably that. And I think the humidity in Miami does not help.

Good luck to you.

Wow, that's looking a lot better. Happy to see this working for you!

I'm on day 16 and seeing a slight improvement. The whiteheads I was getting have totally stopped; my girlfriend suggested trying benzoyl peroxide on them which seemed to get rid of them and no new ones have appeared. The few whiteheads I got were all in the area beneath my lip.

Should have mentioned, I am only using the Clindoxyl and Dalacin-T on my cheeks as that's the only area which I seem to have pimples. This area is improving slightly as well, the zits seem smaller and less aggravated, however they are still present.

I did actually order Dan's products last week, because I wanted to be ready to move on to his regimen if mine doesn't end up working. Based on results I've seen from the benzoyl peroxide I used, I think it would be pretty effective.

I've also booked another appointment with the dermatologist I saw a while ago. As I said earlier, the "zits" on my cheek don't seem like active pimples as much as just red marks. I want to make sure that this is really acne and not something else, like rosacea, irritation or scarring.

Keep updating us Lellok!

So I finally gave up on the regimen that my dermatologist recommended. It had been 28 days and things had only continued to get worse. In addition, I had been actually using the products for another month prior, but I'd taken a break for about a week. It's clear at this point that they simply aggravated my skin more.

This is now my 2nd day on Dan's regimen, too soon to say anything but I'm feeling good about it so far.

Any updates Lellok?

Hey guys ! Sorry, I was pretty busy these days ! Ok So here are the updates DAY 59 ! I had one period like for one week, I was totally clear but these last days, 2 or 3 pimples came back, don't ask me why. I wonder if it's not a food I'm allergic too maybe walnuts, I eat a lot of walnuts !

The right face has 2 or 3 pimples which should disappear at the end of the week as you can see.

day49-right.jpg

The left face is totally clear, now I'm dealing with my old scars which takes a lot of time to be removed. The AHA+ is really amazing for scars, at each time I put it, my scars fade a little bite the next day. I put it on my skin about 2-3 times a week instead of the moisturizer.

day49-left.jpg

If you compare the before-after between the start of the treatment and now, there is a huge difference and for now, Dan's products have been the more efficient product I have tried ! I'm definitely a fan as you can see on this picture Posted Image

How is it going on your side Thesnake ?

Hey, glad to hear you're still improving!

I'm on day 29 of using Dan's regimen now. I love it! Within a couple weeks all my zits cleared up and now I just have scars to deal with. They also seem to be fading quite quickly. Most importantly though, my skin just in general looks a lot better and feels a lot better and less irritated.

I have had a couple zits pop up during the regimen, but nothing too serious. I have been using AHA+ as a spot treatment but have found it totally ineffective. Haven't tried using it instead of the moisturizer, but I'm going to look into that.

Anyways, I'm really happy I found Dan's regimen- it's easily the best solution I've tried. I'm confident that in a few more months I'll be totally clear and my scars will be almost gone.

I'll keep updating on here though, hope you do too Lellok!

Hey TheSnake,

Personally, I love the AHA+. You have to put it on all the face and a lot instead of the moisturizer, the next day when you wake up, you'll see directly the difference trust me :)

I feel AHA+ reduces my scars a lot, personally I love it, and I'm excited to go to bed at each time I put it because I know my face will look better the next day. See by yourself.

I don't know what happened these last days, my scars faded like crazy ! We almost don't see anything more.

I give me one full month to be totally clear and without scars !

Let's keep in touch !

Awesome! I just started using AHA+ a few times this week instead of moisturizer. Haven't noticed a drastic difference yet, although my scars have been fading on the regimen anyways. It's been a couple weeks now since I've had any zits, very happy about that!

So I saw my dermatologist a few weeks ago. I've been totally clear for almost a month now, so now I'm just concerned with the red marks fading faster. She gave me some Tactuo to try, which is a retinoid and benzoyl peroxide cream. I was a little hesitant to start using it considering how awful the last prescription she gave me was (Dalacin-T and Clindoxyl).

Have only used it once so far; she has recommended to use it just one night a week instead of the Benozyl Peroxide in the regimen. Obviously too soon to tell results but it didn't irritate me at all off the bat so I guess that's a good sign. She's suggested the scars will be healed fully in about 2-3 months.

How's the scar fading going with you Lellok?

Awesome! Looks great. My scars have been fading slowly but I haven't found that anything in particular has helped the process more. Have used AHA about once a week and Tactuo about once a week but haven't found that it makes a difference from the regular regimen.

Do you think the difference is weather had an impact on your skin? France is not nearly as hot and humid as Florida I know humid weather is the enemy of my skin lol. But great to see that your skin is improving so much .
