Wow that's weird, the exact same symptoms have appeared on my face as well. It's funny that you phrase it as happening around dinner time every day.. i was just thinking that this morning... ALWAYS AROUND DINNER TIME. Even with my acne problems my face hasn't really become oily til recently either (along with the redness) haha.

no I'm not. I don't really have any pimples at all anymore I've got that under control with the DE wash and honey. I used to take zinc but that gave me headaches so I stopped and I didn't notice a difference anyway. I do take just a regular one-a-day vitamin but I can't imagine how that would have an effect.
How about you?
I was starting to think maybe I just got all red from digesting a lot of food? I really have no clue but i really feel like the oil is making my face irritated. It's really frustrating actually.

I take zinc, vitamin A & D on a regular basis. Did you take zinc for a significant amount of time?
What do you mean by digesting a lot of food? What kind of eating habits do you have if you don't mind me asking.
I agree that the facial oil could possibly be irritating; I know that for me personally, when I wash my face, it's no longer oily and a little less red looking for a short period of time.

i do take some vitamins but this redness is clearly from the bnezoyl peroxide, and the oilyness has to be from the regimen, or at least it really exuberated it so that its definetly noticable by, as you all say, dinner time. my nose however is oily like 2-3 hours after washing my face
but anyways, im more conserned with the redness. it feels even though honey and colloidal oatmeal are good for redness, they are not helping in this situaiton which worries me. ive heard good things about chamomile and feverfew as well, which i might try out. i dont want to try any steroid creams, whichi know can help with redness, because they thin the skin and can cause steroid-induced rosacea, a risk i am definetly not taking
so if you guys, especially those with similar symptoms as i have, have done something to improve or totally get rid of the redness, i would really really appreciate it... thanks

Yeah I took zinc for about 3 months. But i meant like when I eat a large meal or something that is when my face seems to get red. And yeah when I wake up in the morning my face isn't red at all because all the irritating oil is on my pillow i believe. so for me I really think the oil is my problem and I'm looking into possibly getting a matte or oil control moisturizer. idk when i'll actually get around to buying it though...they are pretty expensive like $50

my nose gets oily quick too, but pretty much everyone in the world has an oily nose. what about eucerin redness relief? ever give that a try?

If your familiar with Paula's Choice products, I think there is a skin matifying moisturizer or two on her website that goes for around $20.
Also I'm not very knowledgable on the subject, but if you feel like your digestive tract is off maybe trying some probiotics would help
