I have tried so many brands of make up but they all seem to break me out im still using hello flawless by benefit im not in love with it but makes me look normal. i am using ram so my skin is very sensitive. I hate bare minerals made me look shiny so I have heard of meow mineral make up. it had great reviews on makeup valley I think thats what the websites called. they also had a great variety of yellow tones. its so hard for ne to find a match for my skin tone. its always either too white or to orange. how is the coverage of this make up? I have alot of pih and a few active pimples still in the ib but its calm down a bit. if u have any other suggestion on mineral make up that will be great :) thanks. oh I want to avoid anything that is going to breake me out ex talc etc.....

I've tried a million different brands of Mineral Makeup.......I like signature minerals and Joppa. I thought Meow a bit pricey. I did not like Jane Iredale, Everday minerals has too much shine so that didn't work for me. I also like phyicians' formula for thier compressed version. BTW Joppa is new to me, but you may have to buy 2 colors and do you're own match. This is how I get the perfect match. I also use a darker one to mix with a light liquid concealer to make a custom blend concealer. Covermark covers really well. All the brands of I have tried are 100% natural with no irritating fillers.

I've been using Hello Minerals Makeup http://hellominerals...foundation.html for a couple a years with no problems at all. It's a matte based full coverage mineral makeup. Their mineral makeup has no added extras that irritate my skin. I have super, super, super, sensitive skin. I also use their bronzers, concealers, and finishing powders with no reaction. Price is good-actually it's really fair considering what other brands cost. I found them through a friend and chatted online with customer service. They do a great job directing you in your color selection.

I use the Meow concealer, and they definately have a HUGE range of colours and shades to choose from. Go on the Meow forums and give a few examples of shades that work for you in other products (because they specialize in VERY light colours for paler girls [like moi!] and you will be disappointed in the shade if you don't do your homework first!). Also, you can tell them the undertones in your skin and get their opinions, or read about the undertones in each of the colours on the website. You can order a bunch of samples first in the colours/shades you think might work for you before deciding, but it's pretty pricey ( though my concealer samples are lasting me months...and they're not even close to done..so you might want some of those, too!).

That being said, I don't know anything about the quality of the foundation, but I can tell you about the concealer. First of all, it covers imperfections very nicely and easily with a good concealer brush (it's especially nice for undereye circles if used sparingly). It stays on all day for me, unless it's actually rubbed off. The cons are that in certain lights, the concelear I've applied to a blemish takes on this weird tone that makes it stand out a bit from the rest of my skin, and when I have a really red blemish, it's doesn't cover it that well in any light, and putting more on just makes it looks darker, not lighter. However, it does apply very evenly to blemishes, and maybe I just need a slightly lighter colour. Generally, for redness/blotchiness/undereye circle, it's VERY nice.

The concealer hasn't broken me out, either, as far as I've noticed. I would def. recommend trying Meow products if you have a really hard time finding the right colour. It's not a small investment, but I think it pays off in the end.

The coverage and texture is awful. Definitely the worst mineral foundation I've tried to date.

I've been using Meow for a few months (Flawless Feline and the balancing powder) and I LOVE it... my skin is way better since I stopped using liquid makeup. Good brushes are essential--I use Sigma's F80 and F82 brushes and EcoTools finishing brush and concealer brush (I apply the concealer damp when I use it, although sometimes I still use my old liquid concealer when I need more coverage). Picking out the right shade is a pain--definitely send them an email with some good close-up pictures of yourself in natural light, and they will suggest what shades/levels to try. I ended up being a shade that I NEVER would have guessed on my own. Their shipping can be kind of slow and their website sucks, but the actual product is amazing.
