First time chemical peel? 21% TCA is far too high. I think I'm taking a risk with even 30% GLYCOLIC as a first time peel.

I think if you can afford it start off a low % Glycolic, then work up to TCA

thanks..I tested a patch on a scar on my leg and it's peeling but it took like 10 days to peel! It was only 12.5% so I'm going to apply it on my face in about a month since obviously the skin on my face is thinner than my leg...

I thought it would never peel so I was about to buy something stronger, thank goodness I didn't

My question kind of goes along with the post, so I'll post in here first and see if I got a response.

I have used a 15% TCA peel twice so far (twice in 6 months) for my red marks with only so-so results. The peel did sting, but it def wasn't painful, it was barely even uncomfortable. Anyway, would it be safe at this point to use a 21% or should I go up to the 18% OR should I continue with the 15%?? I did 3 layers of the 15% percent. Should I do more more layers or get the higher concentration?

Thanks
