Does anyone have any tips, advice, encouragement on dealing with the tiredness from Spiro. I'm sleepy all the time which is not good esp. since I'm a mother and a student AND work.

The only thing I can think to do is to take it first thing in the morning before my coffee and right before going to bed at night, but I'm still sleepy in between.

Help?

I recently started taking spiro, and experienced the same thing. Im a stay at home mom of a 1 yr old! I only have to take one dose, and I used to take it in the morning to avoid having to get up at night to pee. I realized that wasn't one of my side affects, so now I take it at night and I feel ten times better all day. Maybe you could ask your doc about only having to take it once a day?

Yeah, it's hard when you have kids to chase around and don't have the luxury of taking a nap. I don't think I would be able to take it just once a day because I'm on 100 mg/day.
