I have rosacea fulminans and am currently on Accutane, but my derma didn't prescribe me prednisone or any other type of oral corticosteroid even though prednisone seems like a very common method of treatment for RF. Was anybody else on this forum in the same situation, or does anybody have any opinions as to whether I should ask my derma for prednisone (next time I see her I'll be finished about a month and a half of Accutane) next time I see her? Is the prednisone mainly used for just counteracting big breakouts, or is it probably a good thing my derma didn't prescribe this given its potential side effects?

I'm really rather bothered about the issue, so any opinions would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much.
