Hello.
I've been using 0.025% Retin-A cream for the last week. It was prescribed by my doctor (along with doxxycline), because he feels it is the best way to "cure" acne.
Well...
Since I've started using the cream, my acne has gone from moderate to severe. I also experienced extreme redness and dryness at first, but that was due to my extremely sensitive skin. I contacted my doctor, and he stated that I should use the cream every other night to deal with the dryness. He had nothing to say about the extreme redness and breakout.
My question is this: How long does it take before the initial breakout starts to clear up? And how can I deal with the facial redness? I'm using Nivea For Men Sensitive Lotion to help with flakiness, but it's doing nothing for the redness.

what u should do is stop using it for a few days until u see that your face is ready to be cured again. and also mositurize. DO NOT USE RETIN-A if ur face is red , wait till it settles back to normal
