hey everyone I have been treating my acne topically but I have had no sucess my acne has gotten way worse than when I started my treatmeants. I had either clogged pores or follicuites no one dignosed me with yet but I had an iud which made me bleed for 2 weeks at a time. my iron was low and I was very moody. it was hormone free (paragard). I removed it because I couldnt handle it anymore. my pr is back to normal but my skin is still shitty and oily. I was on proactive for 3 yrs and I managed my acne to the point I was 98%
clear I had the normal around my pr break outs. this year I started getting cyst I never have had those. my acne is on my jaw, chin, upper lip, chest, and back which on my back, and chest its very mild. I am currently on retina a micro.1% but my acne is horrible thanks to the ib. I am at my witts end with ram. I am thinking that my acne is more hormonal because it gets worst around the time my pr is about to come. thanks for responding :) here is a picture before my acne got real bad.

yeah my doctor prescribed ortho low but I chickened out after reading the reviews. I asked my doctor about spiro but she said that will be the last resort and now I am on panoxyl, acanya, minocycline 100mg in the am.and ram 1% pm. I get this puss filled pimples all the around my pr I couldnt handle the ib of ram without some extra help.
as of right now I need a bc I stop using my iud so if I dont no babies might as well start a bc. I have had issues with hormones so thzts thd only thing that stopping me.

I mean you're always are going to read bad things about everything. If you think about it, if you are angry at someone you go and make a big deal about it. But if you are please with it, you go on happily with your life. People rarely write good reviews. It's just the kind of world that we live in. That's why accutane has such a bad rap, but look at all the people with success stories here. So maybe try that. Plus you are young and now isnt the time for a baby so it counts as a form of protection too. Killing two birds with one stone, score! I'd say try it, I am just about to finish my first pack so I'll keep you updated if you'd like. But I'd say go for it.

Oh! Then that may be why youre breaking out? Some people get acne after they have a baby because theyre hormones are all out of wack. BC would def help
