I'm not sure if this is the right place for this thread, but it seemed appropriate. I wasn't sure how to post something in the reviews section. I struggle with seb derm on my face and its resulting redness. I don't have rosacea so I cannot speak to how what I'm using will help that. I ordered a product called kpangnan butter (pronounced PAN-ya) from Agbanga Karite. It's $12 for a huge tub that will last you possibly forever. Shipping is expensive but it's worth it. Kpangnan butter is similar to shea butter but comes from a completely different plant. It is drier (actually a little crumbly until warmed in the hands) and is said to be great for skin. Also good for skin, but heavier, is shea nilotica. Nilotica is related to regular Western African shea butter but also comes from a different plant. It's only available from Eastern Africa. After using the butter for a short time, the redness in my face went away, as did the dry flakiness. My trouble spots are sides of my nose and chin/mouth area. My skin isn't red or flaky. The butter doesn't make me break out, which is a miracle. I put it on my trouble spots after washing my face, just like a regular moisturizer. I also use bp on my face and wash with Head and Shoulders. I can attest to the butter working because I had been using the Head and Shoulders for a long time and still had the redness and flakiness. I am not claiming this product will solve everyone's problems, but it worked for me so I wanted to share with those who may be interested in giving it a try.

Yes. It still gets dry sometimes, but the redness is gone and my skin is smooth.
