I have a couple of these in my cheek and chin. Sucks, doesn't it? I'm trying to get rid of them too.

Yeah it looks like clogged pores and some pitted scars here and there. You'll likely have to go with salicylic acid or mandelic acid to get rid of them. But don't expect them to work overnight. Took me 1 year on a 2% bha product to truly see an effect. If you want to go a faster route, then you can try acid peels that are at 5 and 10% concentrations, but using them can be quite harmful to the skin if you don't know how to use them properly. Consider a retinoid as well as they help to normalize skin cell shedding and restructure the pore shape.

I am at the moment trying to get rid of my black heads and clogged pores with a nightly turmeric mask. There are a lot of different ones to choose from, but the ones with honey tend to be too messy for my liking. Turmeric is said to be really helpful with any kind of acne so I am going to try a nightly mask for a month and see if it does anything. It can't hurt at least.
I use about a teaspoon of turmeric and enough milk to make it into a paste/liquid (a paste is too thick and a liquid too thin) and put it on my whole face for about 10 min and then rinse it off. I wash my face before and after with a gentle cleanser. I am fair skinned so it stains my face yellow but usually the staining is gone by morning. It's worth a shot, and if it doesn't get rid of the black heads, it has heaps of other benefits for the skin. Look it up! People have been using it in Asia for 2500 years for anything from healing wounds to preventing Alzheimer's.
