Hi.

I have suffered from acne ever since a young age and have been given anti biotics too see if they will go, I think they have gotten rid of my actual acne but I am left with so many scars on my face and its making me lack in confidence so much as I barely can leave the house.

What options are available to someone like me on the NHS or just treatments which can be prescribed? I would say they are quite bad and I cant cope with staying inside for the majority of the time, I feel so ugly and nothing seems to make me feel better, I feel so ashamed.

Thanks for your answers.

NHS doesn't tend to help with scarring unless it's very severe and causing you to be suicidal or something :/ I went to my GP for the same reason recently. Give it a shot though. Good luck!

Post photos of your scars, there are cheaper treatments available.

That was taken a while ago, my face is still pretty similar =[

Did your GP give you anything callum or just turn you away?
