How sedentary a lifestyle do you lead? I recall a post ages ago where someone complained about his dermatologist asking "How long do you sit down in a day?" thinking it was completely non relevant to acne.

The fact is if you're sat down most of the day, your lymphatic system isn't moving any toxins around and they will collect and appear in that region. My backside used to be literally peppered with spots, until I began a healthy diet and the most important part, rebounding. Or, just any general exercise really, as long as you get your lymph moving around your body.

Not sure about scars however, not even sure a firmer backside could make the skin smoother.

Minocycline worked for me in that area (the only area it worked for). I used a low dose for a couple of months and it hasn't come back. Yet. Scars? I believe they are permanent.
