I have been using ram 0.04 since sept 16 I switch to 1% now its 3.weeks on the higher dosage my skin is a bit oily throught out the day so I dont use lotion because I havent found something I liked and im scared that I am going to break out even more. I also use bp 10% and acanya durning the day this is my 2 day on acanya. but my skin is oily with dry pimples. so when I apply make up it doesnt look too cute. my makeup has spf 15 in it. who has used cervave and its worked? I have to lotion and drink more water to keep my skin hydrate even though its oily. thanks for reading :)

my derm suggested i use cerave a while ago so i bought it and hated it. it felt too thick for me and didnt absorb well at all. i felt it made me break out too so i switched back to my olay regenerist day lotion with spf 15 and then at night i use the olay regenerist deep hydration cream. only stuff that realy hyrdates my skin with using benzaclin.

When I was on Dan's regimen, I used it for awhile. I thought it worked pretty well, but I was dealing with severe dryness from BP usage. I thought it broke me out too, but looking back, it was actually getting off the pill that was doing it. I liked the way the lotion felt, personally. It was like putting velvet on your skin. Now that I'm not on BP I don't think I'm dry enough to justify using it. But if my skin ever takes a turn to the dry side again, then it'll be something I'd use. I hated Cetaphil b/c of the grease factor. Cerave wasn't like that at all. It left me with a smooth matte kind of finish. Maybe you can get a sample size somewhere? From your dermatologist maybe? Then you could try it before you buy it, if they are available.
